# /next/ — the next store

The v3 design direction **01 / ABP first**, built here. It runs beside the store that sells today rather than replacing it.

## Nothing on /next/ can be bought

No payment link has been issued on any level, so every buying action renders as a disabled control carrying its reason.

## One section of the design is not built

The v3 pages carry a mission line that uses a word this site bars absolutely, on every page, with no allowlist and no carve-out for a quotation. Their own notes record that the project lead asked for it. The section is left out, the mirror keeps their file intact, and the ruling is on the board.

## The journey

The picker, the order, the checkout and the page after it are built from the store's own data. The order they share is the live store's order: the same local-storage key, the same schema, the same line shape, the same reference alphabet and the same SKUs, so an order started in this design round is still there on the store that sells today. A check compares the two models field by field.

## The filter that cannot run

The capability vocabulary has 23 named behaviours and every shape publishes how many of them its grant contains. Which ones is not published for any shape, so the behaviour filter narrows nothing and says why, and the capability strip in the panel is one uncoloured cell per capability. For five of the fifteen shapes, wanted plus not-asked overshoots the grant by exactly one; ten are exact.
